House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had to offer “unity” as the consolation prize after failing to regain the majority, and she said reporters have to wait until tomorrow to learn her plans for the future.

“We may not have the majority, we may not have the gavel, but we have unity,” Pelosi told reporters before being asked if she would run again to lead the caucus.  “Let’s see, what time is it now? It’s 2 o’clock on Tuesday,” she answered.” I’ll see you right here, ten o’clock tomorrow morning. While I love you all dearly, I thought I’d talk to my own caucus before I share that information with you.”

Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., said she doesn’t know what Pelosi plans to do.

“I think that’s probably the hottest question in the capitol right now,” she said on Morning Joe, per Politico.  “But, personally, if you ask me, I would be shocked if she left. It would really surprise me if she stepped aside.”
