Montgomery police seek info about credit card thefts from vehicles

Police are seeking information about two thefts from vehicles in Montgomery County.

Both thefts took place on Oct. 25. In one, credit cards were taken from a purse that was in a vehicle parked at Damascus Elementary School. In the other, credit cards were removed from a purse that was in vehicle parked in the driveway of an Olney home, Montgomery County police said.

The credit cards from the Damascus theft were used in Frederick. The cards from the Olney theft were used at stores in Rockville and Wheaton.

A female shown in store surveillance photos has been linked to both thefts. A male individual seen with her has been linked to the Olney theft but may also have been involved in the Damascus one.
