Police seek pair who punched, robbed teenage girl in District Heights

Prince George's County police are seeking information about two women who attacked and robbed a teenage girl in District Heights.

About 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the robbers approached the girl while she was leaving a convenience store at Boones Lane and Marlboro Pike. The attackers punched the girl, pushed her to the ground and took her shoes and cellphone, police said. The robbers then ran away from the scene.

Surveillance photos were taken of the robbers a short time before the incident. Anyone with information can call police at 301-772-4425. They can also contact Crime Solvers by calling 866-411-TIPS or by texting "PGPD plus your crime tip" to 274637.
