Obama campaign: Profanity a hit in fundraising emails

Mild profanity yielded big clicks in the Obama re-election campaign emails, reports Joshua Green of Bloomberg Businessweek.

According to campaign staff, mild curse words such as “Hell yeah, I like Obamacare” reaped high amounts of clicks from e-mail recipients.

Another email featuring profanity was from campaign manager Jim Messina shortly after Obamacare was ruled constitutional.

It’s subject line? “Let’s win the damn election.”
