The world famous Philadelphia Flower Show, which drew the wife of Vice President Joe Biden in March, will feature the flowers and landscape of Great Britain next year, raising speculation that newly pregnant Princess Kate Middleton might make it one of her last international trips before giving birth.

Organizers of the show, which traditionally has an international theme, told Secrets that invitations have been sent to the royal family to attend the week long event March 2-10.

While Prince Charles is the typical go-to royal for "green" and environmental events, there is hope that Kate and Prince William will attend. "Our outreach was to Buckingham Palace. We'd welcome any of the royals," said Alan Jaffe, spokesman for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

The video promoting next year's show, titled "Brilliant!" features a picture of a smiling Kate.

Considering all the fanfare around the princess and her pregnancy, show officials expect that one of the major growers will roll out a new flower, probably a rose, to name it for the princess or baby. "I'm sure someone will be naming a flower or exhibit after the Royal baby," said Jaffe.

The show is a huge draw for flower-lovers from the Washington area. During the last show, Jill Biden and her daughter, then engaged to be married, visited to get ideas for the wedding floral arrangements.
