Teenage jogger robbed, assaulted in Fairfax Co. park

An 18-year-old woman jogging in Huntley Meadows Park was assaulted and robbed by two females Thursday morning, police said.

The victim was jogging near the South Kings Highway/Telegraph Road entrance to the park at about 11:15 a.m. when the assailants knocked her to the ground, assaulted her and stole clothing and a cell phone, according to Fairfax County police.

One of the attackers was described as a heavy-set Hispanic female, 15 to 25 years old and 5 feet tall. The other attacker was described as a Hispanic or black female, 15 to 25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build. Both of the robbers were wearing all black.
