For those who want to know almost too much information about Michelle Obama, the National Archives is hosting a program Thursday night that gets to the roots of her DNA. In a genealogy talk, Rachel L. Swarns, the author of "American Tapestry: The Story of the Black, White and Multiracial Ancestors of Michelle Obama," will discuss how the first lady's family members were "touched by every major shift in our nation's history," the news release boasts. The event begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Attendees should use the Archives' entrance on Constitution Avenue and Seventh Street N.W.
