The man found dead in the Briggs Chaney area of Montgomery County on Monday night had been shot to death, county police said.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Christopher Davon White of Landover.
Officers responding to a sound-of-shots call located White's body on a paved path to the rear of 13920 Castle Boulevard at about 10 p.m. Monday, police said. Detectives are continuing to investigate the slaying.
