“You’re an unbelievably stupid man, aren’t you?” asked Piers Morgan during a discussion about gun rights during his CNN show last night.

As Newsbuster’s Noel Sheppard reported, the British broadcaster appeared unhinged last night when Larry Pratt, the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, went on his show to defend the Second Amendment.

“You don’t give a damn, do you, about the gun murder rate in America? You don’t actually care,” Morgan said during the debate.

Morgan noted on Twitter that he was “still seething” after his show.

“Still seething after tonight’s show,” he wrote. “Just can’t understand the mentality of those who insist the only answer to #Newtown is MORE guns.”

This morning, Morgan defended his behavior by pointing to the shooting victims.

“I don’t care if people are upset by my anger and passion re guns,” he wrote on Twitter. “I care about not letting those poor Sandy Hook children die in vain.”
