Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was a force all afternoon. He finished with two sacks and two tackles for a loss with five tackles overall. Kerrigan has set a new career high with 8? sacks. He had 7? as a rookie.
Under the radar
Robert Griffin III wasn't at full strength. He didn't have the explosive burst to get around the edge at will. He threw an interception. But he remained effective with two touchdown passes, including a thing of beauty to Santana Moss in the third quarter.
Did you notice ...
How active defensive tackle Barry Cofield was? The big man recognized the play and motored down the line of scrimmage to blow up a bubble screen pass to LeSean McCoy for a key tackle late in the first half. That helped limit Philadelphia to a field goal.
From the sidelines
That may be it for Eagles coach Andy Reid. His team is now 4-11. A loss in the season finale would give him his worst record since he took over in 1999, and all signs point to a change in Philadelphia.
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan helped keep kicker Kai Forbath perfect by passing up a chance at a 52-yard field goal into the wind on his team's first drive. The fourth-down attempt failed, but Forbath later hit from 45 and 42 and is now 17-for-17.
