Police looking for pizza shop robber

Police are seeking information about the armed man who robbed a Pizza Hut in Gaithersburg.

Wednesday afternoon, a woman called the business to order a pizza. When her call was answered, she was told that the store was being robbed, and she could hear someone demanding money. The woman then called police.

No one was injured during the robbery, which occurred at 299 Muddy Branch Road, according to county police.

The robber had a gun, police said, and is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen fleeing the store on foot, wearing a cap and dark jacket.
