D.C. police released a video of two men walking near the site of a fatal shooting of a District man on Monday.

The men are seen walking by an elementary school near the 1200 block of C Street NE, where authorities found 28-year-old Jason Anthony Emma slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at about 2:15 a.m. Monday. Emma died at the scene.

Police did not identify the elementary school where the security footage was taken, and described the men shown in the video as "persons of interest."

Investigators have been looking for two men who were seen heading eastbound on C Street NE. Police described them as black males with heavy builds, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. One of the men was wearing a white T-shirt with dark sleeves.

The neighborhood in Capitol Hill where Emma was found has not had many shootings, according to D.C. Police Commander George Kucik.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of persons wanted in connection with the homicide.

Anyone who can help identify the men in the video or has any information about the shooting is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text tips to 50411.
