President Obama has returned back to Hawaii to continue his Christmas vacation, but that might be news to his family. Since returning at 4:47 am., he's been on a whirlwind of exercise, business and golf.

Force to leave Hawaii December 26 to help broker the "fiscal cliff" deal that passed late Tuesday, Obama continued his busy schedule even after Air Force One landed. In his first four-plus hours back with his family, he's been gone nearly three. According to pool reports:

Pool report 1a:

POTUS landed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu at 4:47 a.m. and exited the plane shortly after 5 a.m. Your pool was unable to see him, but we're in the motorcade moving now.

Pool report 2:

At 5:40 am POTUS returned to Hawaii residence. Pool is now holding.

Greeting POTUS at arrival at airport was Admiral Samuel J. Locklear III (Commander, US Pacific Command.)

Pool report 3:

At 6:15 a.m. POTUS arrived at the gym on the nearby Marine Corps base for an early workout.

Pool is holding at nearby Starbucks.

Pool report 4:

At 7:35 am POTUS left the gym and returned to residence at 7:45 am. Pool holding at rental house.

Pool report 5:

From a Senior Administration Official:

The President has spoken to Governor Christie today about the Sandy supplemental request pending in the House of Representatives, and the importance of its passage. The President's team has been in close contact with Governor Cuomo's staff as well today.

Pool report 6:

At about 10 a.m. POTUS left the residence en route to the Marine Corps base for a round of golf. At 10:10 a.m., the pool is holding at the nearby food court.
