D.C. Police arrested a man connected to a homicide Friday night after he fled from police and crashed his car in the Northeast at around 9 p.m.
Police said they spotted a vehicle that was believed to be connected to a homicide in Prince George's County, and followed the vehicle to the 2000 block of Gales Street NE. The driver crashed his car and was apprehended by police.
A woman was also found in the car, but was not arrested. News outlets have reported the woman was in the trunk of the car, but a police spokesman could not confirm that as of Saturday afternoon.
The man is facing unspecified traffic charges in D.C. and will be held until he is transferred to Prince George's County authorities.
