D.C. burger fans were pained to hear that Ray's Hell Burger and Ray's Hell Burger Too are currently closed. The temporary closure is due to a tenant-landord dispute, according to sources. Michael Landrum, who owns the two locations along with a third, is currently tied up in a litigation battle with the landlord of the propert in Arlington. Landrum and his staff arrived to work on Tuesday to the sign "Landlord has changed the locks. Do not unlock this door under penalty of damages." The third location, Ray's to the Third, is still open, and has been modified to accommodate an influx of customers. Landrum doesn't seem concerned about the issue, telling ARLnow.com that "this is a very minor blip." Ray's Hell Burger gained fame after President Obama ate their a few times, once with Vice President Biden and another time with Russian president Dmitry Medvedev.
