When talking about realities of inaugural hair, Hair Lounge Salon's Daniel Levy makes a valid point. "The stars have 20 hairdressers, they have a full staff with them, and you don't," he told Yeas & Nays. "Don't try to do something that's too complicated, don't go somewhere and have 20 different thousand curls on your hair, keep it as simple as possible and make it all about the dress and have beautiful makeup," Levy, who co-owns the Georgetown salon, suggested.
When it comes to looks that are particularly in style, Levy said definitely the more romantic look. "Where it's tussled in the back and it's kind of loose," he said. He also said that women shouldn't be afraid to jazz up their look with accessories, which also serve a purpose. "There's so many beautiful hair accessories that you can add to the updo and all you have to do is kind of go in and tighten the clip and that usually saves the updo."
As far as what to pack in a purse, Levy made that simple too. "Bobby pins and spray, that's all you need," he said. "You don't need anything else."
