Authorities are looking for a man accused of abducting a woman at a Super 8 motel in Dumfries.

Prince William County police said Dion Phoenix, of Newport News, Va., forced his way into a motel room occupied by a 32-year-old woman about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Phoenix locked the door and would not allow her to leave, but she was able to call police while she distracted the man. When he heard her talking to authorities, he ran.

Phoenix, 21, is described as a black male, 5-feet-11 and 150 pounds, with a short black hair and a star tattoo on his check.

Anybody with information can call Prince George's County Police or Crime Solvers 1-866-411-TIPS.
