HBO "Girls" creator Lena Dunham took to Twitter on Thursday to defend her voting record. Dunham, if you may recall, filmed a web ad for President
Obama, which was all about being picky about your "first time." (Voting, of course -- what else would it be?) Room Eight, a New York politics blog, called Dunham a "born again political virgin" and reported that the "Girls" star hadn't voted in Brooklyn in the 2012 election. Dunham said she tried voting absentee, but her ballot didn't arrive in time, so she flew back to vote with dad at her old polling place. "Obviously I voted for Romney," she wrote. "I hope everyone has a nice day."
