The storm warnings from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Boston HQ are coming fast and furious as the snow starts to pile up.

Their best advice: buy gas now, tap your ATM, fill a bathtub to drink from, figure out how to open your garage door without the remote, and stay inside.

Below are some of their warnings on their Twitter feed:

-- Stay indoors during #Blizzard: If you must go outside, keep dry/change wet clothing frequently to prevent loss of body heat.

-- If your water supply could be affected by a power outage, (well-water pump), fill your bathtub and spare containers with water.

-- Stay indoors during the storm, and drive only if absolutely necessary. If you must drive, travel in the day and don't travel alone.

-- Governor urging #NH residents to be at their final destinations and off the roads by 7 pm when storm will be heaviest.

-- Locate the manual release lever of your garage door opener, and know how to use it in case of power outage.
