The Huffington Post’s Jen Bendery gets credit for accuracy. As today’s White House pool reporter she passed on the news that President Obama “walked outside” and commented about the warm weather in Washington D.C. as he prepared for his State of the Union Address this evening.

When asked by reporters about his address, the report stated that Obama replied “We’ll find out everything I have to say tonight. In the meantime, enjoy the nice weather.”

It wasn’t long before a correction was quickly sent out.

Obama actually said “great” weather, not “nice” weather. Exact quote is here:

“We’ll find out everything I’ve got to say tonight. In the meantime, enjoy the great weather.”
