The royal midsection is not to be photographed.
That's the message out of St. James's Palace following the revelation that Italian magazine Chi is publishing long-lens photos of Kate Middleton in a bikini. If Chi sounds familiar, that's because it's the same rag that ran long-lens photos of Kate topless six months ago.
After a debacle like that, what's the big deal about photos of her with her top on? Oh yeah -- the Duchess of Cambridge has a royal bun in the royal oven. And thus a bikini would perfectly frame the royal baby bump, as yet unseen in public.
Spokesmen for the royal family say they're "disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."
And it's not just Queen Elizabeth who's spilled her tea over the photos of Kate arm in arm with Prince William on the private island of Mustique.
"It's been a real sour note for the end of their trip," a friend of the couple tells Us Weekly. "For Catherine, it was the first time she had shown her baby bump, and so for it to be exposed so quickly has shaken her up a little. They thought with the privacy laws on the island they would be able to spend a moment outside of the house without this happening."
After which the friend ran off to try to find the photos on Google, like everybody else.
Angie and Brad's tyke brings home the bacon
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt makes us feel like real bums for the way we spent the time between our fourth and fifth birthdays.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's 4-year-old daughter pulled in $3,000 a week on the set of the upcoming "Maleficent," according to a contract leaked to TMZ.
Vivienne is making her acting debut as the younger version of Dakota Fanning's Princess Aurora in the live-action twist of Disney's "Sleeping Beauty." If our memory of the 1959 classic serves, the villain Maleficent curses the young Aurora to "prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die" before turning 16. And who might be playing the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil" this time around? Why, mommie dearest, Angie herself.
Perhaps the weekly $3k is just for the pain and suffering of being cursed by her mom. After all, Vivienne's living expenses are covered by an additional $60 per diem. Boy, inflation is really something. We only walked around with two twenties when we were toddlers.
