Woman sought in McDonald's restaurant attack

D.C. police are looking for a woman in a felony assault of a worker at a McDonald's restaurant, and they are asking the public for information that can lead to her arrest.

The attack was captured on surveillance video, and police hope the public can help identify the woman.

The attack happened about 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 10 at the McDonald's at 1635 Benning Road NE. In the released video, the woman is seen arguing with a person at a cash register, before she swings at the victim and jumps across the counter.

The woman is described as a black female with a dark complexion, 17 to 21 years old, about 5-foot-5, with a heavy build.

Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to a conviction.
