Two or three men used a handgun to rob a Verizon Wireless store in Montgomery County, physically restrained two store employees and fled with cell phones, according to Montgomery County police.

The robbery took place at the Plaza del Mercado shopping center in Aspen Hill at about the time two employees were closing the store. Police said they responded when they received a call about the incident at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday.

One suspect weighed between 160 and 165 pounds, and the other weighed about 175 pounds. Montgomery County police spokeswoman Janelle Smith said there might have been a third suspect involved, but the store employees were not able to provide a description.
