Three male juveniles have been arrested after an armed robbery in Takoma Park.

The three teenagers, ages 14, 15 and 16, have been charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary, theft under $500 and second-degree assault. They were committed to the Noyes Juvenile Detention Facility in Rockville.

Thee suspects forced their way into a home on the 7800 block of Kennewick Avenue on Wednesday and assaulted a person inside. They took four pairs of shoes from the home, according to Takoma Park police crime analyst Andrew Gucciardo.

One of the suspects threatened the victim by claiming to have a gun, though police had not found evidence of a weapon after the robbery, Gucciardo said.

Police found two of the teenagers walking after the robbery with some of the stolen property, and they arrested the third after contacting his parent.

Officers are searching for a fourth suspect, whom they described as a Hispanic male between 15 and 17 years old, wearing a dark blue jacket and black jeans.
