A Leesburg man in his early 20s died Sunday in car accident that left two others injured along Key Bridge in Arlington County.

Police Spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said the driver of a 2008 BMW M5 lost control of the car when it struck a curb at 80-90 mph while traveling across Key Bridge. The vehicle then rolled about five times before coming to a stop on its roof near Lee Highway and Fort Myer Drive around 5 a.m., he said.

In addition to the fatality, Sternbeck said they found one passenger who had been ejected from the vehicle and another who had managed to get out of the car without police assistance.

Both were transported to a nearby hospital.
