We spotted MSNBC's Chris Matthews and "The West Wing's" Richard Schiff walking down Prospect Street Northwest on Tuesday night, after dining with another gentleman at Martin's Tavern in Georgetown. Schiff is the lead in the Shakespeare Theatre Company production of "Hughie," which runs through Sunday.

Also out in Georgetown was former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who emerged from a private dinner at Cafe Milano to say hi to some of the Italian eatery's patrons in the main dining room. Kissinger is presenting an award honoring former national security adviser Brent Scowcroft on Wednesday night in Washington at a dinner hosted by the National Defense University Foundation.

Finally, actor Gerard Butler was out and about late Tuesday night, heading to the West End after his "Olympus Has Fallen" screening concluded in Georgetown. Butler and a gang of nine were seen having drinks about 10:30 p.m. in the lounge of the Park Hyatt Washington.
