The Secret Service insists that President Obama’s Israel trip will be largely unaffected by the breakdown of one of the limousines transported for the trip.
“One of our protective vehicles experienced mechanical problems in Israel earlier today,” the Secret Service said in a statement. “This is why we bring multiple vehicles and a mechanic on all trips.”
The Secret Service added that their advance teams plan “extensively” for potential hiccups in the presidential travel so that his itinerary will not be affected.
One of the limousines in Barack Obama’s entourage broke down after it was reportedly filled with diesel instead of gasoline.
