Police seek man who robbed SunTrust bank in Prince George's County

Prince George's County police are seeking information about a man suspected of robbing a Clinton bank.

On Wednesday at about 3 p.m., the man entered the SunTrust bank located on the 8900 block of Woodyard Road. The robber approached a teller and passed a note that demanded money. He got an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the scene, according to Prince George's County police.

The robber was described as a black man in his late 20s with a light complexion. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a white, black and red striped head covering.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Solvers by calling 866-411-TIPS (8477), texting "PGPD" plus the tip to 274637 or visiting pgpolice.org. Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
