MARC riders will see new tickets and a new website to buy them on by Monday.
The new website, mta.commuterdirect.com, will allow riders to pay for MARC and commuter bus tickets with two different credit cards and can automatically renew payments. It also will accept SmartBenefits and employer-sponsored credit cards, officials said.
"By consolidating MARC and commuter bus ticketing, we will be able to provide more options for our passengers, as well as better customer service," said the Maryland Transit Administration's top official, Ralign Wells.
The tickets for train and bus will have a new design starting Monday, officials said.
