A teenager and her 2-year-old child are have been missing since they moved out of their Silver Spring home in February.

Franscheska Leon, 17, and her son, Johnathan Deaz, 2, were last seen moving away from their house on the 2900 block of Marlow Road on Feb. 21, and Franscheska's family reported her missing when they had not been able to contact her after she left.

Montgomery County police spokesman Bob Ladany said investigators do not suspect foul play in the case, and Franscheska has had some contact with her family since she was reported missing. The Montgomery County Police Department's Family Crimes Division believes Franscheska and her son are living somewhere in the local area, and they are still seeking information about their whereabouts.

Franscheska is described as a Hispanic female with a light complexion, brown eyes and long black hair. She has piercings in her cheeks, upper lip and ears. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs about 155 pounds.

Her son, Johnathan, is also Hispanic with brown eyes and black hair. He is 2 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 40 pounds.

Anyone with information about Franscheska and Johnathan is asked to call Montgomery County police at 301-279-8000.
