Teen gunned down in Southeast Washington

A teenager was fatally shot in Southeast Washington early Sunday, and police are looking for the killer.

Shortly after midnight, D.C. police responded to the 2700 block of Langston Place SE for a report of a shooting. They found a boy, about 16 years old, on the ground outside suffering from an apparent gun shot to the chest. The teen was taken to a hospital where he died.

Police are looking for a black male, between 5-feet-8 to 6 feet tall, and about 160 pounds. He had black hair, a medium complexion and was last seen wearing blue pants.
