"If they really wanted to know what was going on in Cuba, they should have met with some of the people that are suffering there, not simply smoke cigars and take a stroll down the street."

- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., criticizing Jay-Z and Beyonce on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday. The singers recently obtained authorization, under an educational license, to travel to Havana despite restrictions on U.S. citizens traveling and spending money there. Last week, Jay-Z released a song mocking the controversy. Cuban-American Rubio said Jay-Z overlooked hip-hop artists in Cuba who are persecuted for writing political lyrics of their own.
