President Obama is taking a liking to dinner diplomacy.
The White House said Obama will host a group of bipartisan, female senators for dinner at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on Tuesday. The meal with lawmakers comes after two separate Obama dinner dates with GOP lawmakers and another with Democrats.
The White House said the group would eat in the State Dining Room. The event is closed to the press.
A record 20 women are now in the Senate — 16 Democrats and four Republicans. The White House invited all 20 senators, but it’s not yet clear if each will attend.
