Man fatally shot in Southeast D.C.

A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. Tuesday night, officials said.

Police went to the 3500 block of 18th Street SE about 10 p.m. and found Rahmaan Jamal Ward unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Ward, of Southeast, was later pronounced dead at a hospital, D.C. police spokeswoman Saray Leon said.

No suspect and motive information was available Wednesday morning.
