FOX News host Sean Hannity criticized MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, calling him a “left-wing journalist,” even though he admitted that the former Republican Congressman “used to be a conservative” and “a friend.”

Hannity played several clips of what he called the “new NBC Joe” and asked his guest, Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center, to explain why Scarborough had changed.

Bozell explained that Scarborough was just “going radical left” so he could be popular.

“I’m going to let you in on a little secret you didn’t know,” Bozell told Hannity, citing Scarborough’s failed radio show. “He is so jealous of you, and he’s so jealous of Rush Limbaugh and so jealous of Mark Levin.”

Hannity pointed out video clips of Scarborough’s recent rants against assault weapons, reminding his audience that Scarborough supported the NRA as a Republican congressman in the '90′s.

He would argue, ‘I changed after Newtown,’” Hannity explained. “I would argue that he wants to be loved by the establishment, and Joe Scarborough is no conservative as he’s portrayed.”
