Police ID man killed in Southeast D.C. shooting

D.C. police have identified a man who was fatally shot early Sunday morning as 21-year-old Alvin Allen Jr. of Southeast Washington.

Allen, another man and a boy were found with gunshot wounds in the 3400 block of Stanton Road SE at about 2:50 a.m. Sunday. The three victims were taken to hospitals, where Allen died and the other two were treated for their injuries, police said.

The surviving victims are not being identified. No information about the gunman was available Monday morning, police said.
