Prince George's County police are investigating the slaying of a 55-year-old man whose body was found in his Brandywine home.

About 5:30 p.m. Sunday, a family member found Alphonso Ray Drew unresponsive in the 12900 block of Cherry Tree Crossing Road. Drew was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An autopsy performed Monday morning found that Drew died as a result of blunt-force trauma, police said. Detectives are working to determine the killer(s) and the motive in the case.
