Four people were taken to a local hospital after a stabbing outside a homeless shelter Monday morning.
D.C. police said the woman and three men taken to the hospital on Memorial Day were not in life-threatening condition.
Police were alerted to the stabbing about 9:25 a.m. and were still investigating at 11 a.m.
The violence happened outside the Federal City Shelter, which spans the 400 block of Second Street NW.
It's the second stabbing this month for the space outside the shelter: A man was punched and stabbed with a knife there on the evening of May 5.
