A Silver Spring man accused of secretly taking photos of interns at a D.C. office was sentenced to nearly four years in prison on a charge of possession of child pornography.
Marc Gange, 35, pleaded guilty in February 2013 in federal court in D.C. He admitted contacting a man online who claimed to be sexually abusing his 12-year-old daughter. It turned out to be an undercover D.C. police detective.
Gange, who worked as a program officer at the World Wildlife Fund, wrote about taking photos of interns at his workplace, and sent the detective dozens of images of adult men engaged in sexual acts with children.
Following his arrest in December 2012, officers found three videos and more than 1,000 images of child pornography on Grange's computer.
