A Suitland man has been arrested for stealing about 2,500 pounds of copper wire worth roughly $10,000 from a Pepco facility, police said Tuesday.

Kevin Andrew Price, 50, was arrested on charges of theft and breaking and entering on June 7. He was being held at the Department of Corrections Tuesday, Prince George's County police said.

Officers responded to several burglaries at a facility on the 8500 block of Pepco Place in Upper Marlboro during May. A surveillance camera recorded Price scaling a fence and stealing wire, police said.
