Former adviser to Bill Clinton Doug Schoen thinks that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was wrong when he characterized critics of President Obama’s decision to delay Obamacare employer mandate tactic as “willfully ignorant.”
In a Fox News segment on the law on Thursday, Scohen pointed out that President Obama had no authority to delay the Obamacare employer mandate.
“There is no right for a president or the executive to unilaterally delay implementation of legislation that has been passed,” Schoen said. “We have separation of powers. Democrats like Tom Harkin has absolutely expressed the same sentiments.”
Scohen added that, “Carney’s wrong and owes the American people an apology.”
