A partisan tweet by Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., was deleted from his Twitter account just seconds after it went live.
"Just a matter of time: waiting for the @VA_GOP to claim this winter storm was caused by The Affordable Care Act," read a tweet on his account, accompanied by the hashtag "Snowbamacare."
The tweet was deleted 26 seconds after it was posted -- but not before the Sunlight Foundation's "Politwoops" page picked it up.
Later, Warner blamed his deleted tweet on a mistake by a staff member.
"Oops. Staff #fail on a snow day. Removed as quickly as possible. Enjoy the rest of your snow day," he tweeted later.
