Kathleen Sebelius isn't running for Senate.

Sebelius, who will soon be leaving her post as secretary of Health and Human Services, told the New York Times (via spokeswoman) on Thursday that she had no interest in running against Kansas Republican Pat Roberts.

The Times first floated the rumor of a Sebelius candidacy on Wednesday, openly wondering whether Sebelius was "weighing revenge" against Roberts for calling for Sebelius' resignation during the rocky rollout of the Obamacare health insurance exchanges.

The Kansas Republican Party had gleefully greeted the idea of her candidacy, offering to pay her bus fare if she'd come campaign in Kansas.
