Seeing “Disney on Ice Presents Disneyland Adventure” at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore is a lot like being at Disneyland itself.
“We wanted to bring Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom to the homes of people who have not experienced the parks in Anaheim or Orlando,” said tour coordinator Patty Vincent. “With this experience, you feel like you have experienced the attractions the way you would by going to the park itself.”

The adventure begins with the Parr family, also known as The Incredibles, as they try to take a normal vacation to Disneyland. Along the way, the family gets to see all the most famous attractions at the park, including Space Mountain, the Tower of Terror and It’s a Small World. But their fun is interrupted when they realize that the evil Syndrome has captured Mickey and Minnie, and it’s up to the Incredibles to save the day.
” ‘Disney On Ice’ presents a Disneyland adventure that will remind audiences of all the fun and unimaginable possibilities that Disneyland offers while capturing the escapades of the Incredibles,” stated Producer Kenneth Feld. “Children and adults alike will find this ice adventure both familiar and unexpected at the same time.”
The adventure features an array of favorite Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Buzz Lightyear, Baloo and Disney princesses Snow White and Cinderella.
“There are so many fun, cool effects. We have water cannons in the headers on the ground, cannonballs that shoot from the pirates’ cannons, colorful and exciting lighting in the tea party and more,” Vincent said. “It’s one of those shows where you never want to leave your seat. There’s always something happening.”
Creative Director Jerry Bilik worked to capture favorite memories from the Disney parks, but added new twists by incorporating the Incredibles.
“This show is designed for people of all ages,” he said. “Interwoven into the parade of attractions and characters are moments of subtle humor for adults, physical comedy and interaction for children, and groovy music that the entire family will enjoy.”
