D.C.’s Metropolitan Police are investigating a stabbing Sunday afternoon near the U Street Corridor in Northwest D.C.

Authorities were called around 4 p.m. about a possible shooting or stabbing at 14th  and T streets in Northwest, according to police.

Officer Paul Metcalf, a spokesman, said police were questioning one person in what they now believe is a stabbing. The victim was conscious and breathing, he said.
