< p>From an examination of large animals in the Washington area to an interview with a rowing coach, here are some of the latest stories from blogs in the D.C. area.

  • Coyotes, mountain lions and foxes have all been spotted in the District in the past several years. DCist compiled information about these and other large animal sightings in the Washington area.
  • An apartment in the Watergate Residences listed for nearly $3.8 million includes three bedrooms and a library. DC Metrocentric posted an image of the floor plan and photos of the interior.
  • A coach says no athletic ability is necessary to row. The Hill is Home has an interview with Capital Rowing Club coach Bob Brady.
