On Saturday, journalist Cokie Roberts brought home a brand new dog, a 48-pound black lab named Katie. But Katie, formerly a stray, fled from Roberts' Bethesda residence later that day, according to the Bethesda Patch. Now the journalist has been papering the neighborhood in hopes of getting Katie back and the rescue group Lab Rescue is searching for the five-year-old female pooch as well. The black lab has gray fur near her jaw and is wearing a collar with Lab Rescue tags attached. Roberts is offering a $100 reward for her dog's safe return.
