Caps likely Game 7 lines

One more practice for the Capitals, who hope it’s not the last one of the season. With Game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals on Wednesday night at TD Garden against the Bruins, that’s no guarantee. The lines are the same as Sunday’s game.

Ovechkin-Laich-Brouwer

Johansson-Backstrom-Semin

Chimera-Beagle-Hendricks

Knuble-Aucoin-Ward

Jeff Halpern and Mathieu Perreault were skating in light blue as the fifth line with Mattias Sjogren absent due to an immigration meeting, according to the team. He was still expected to fly with the team to Boston. All eight defensemen were on the ice, though Jeff Schultz skated with Dennis Wideman and John Erskine was with Dmitry Orlov. We’d assume Schultz-Wideman would be the pairing. Those two have been on the ice for a combined 12 goals in the series. Schultz has been a healthy scratch the last three games in favor of Erskine.
