< p>Musician Stevie Wonder delighted patrons at Cafe Milano on Wednesday night by putting on an impromptu concert at the Georgetown hotspot, staying until 2 a.m. Cafe Milano's owner Franco Nuschese explained to Yeas & Nays that Wonder had come in the night before just for dinner, but on Wednesday night Wonder made music too, performing three or four of his favorite songs. "When artists just decide to chill out and play just for fun — nothing is planned, there's no pressure — it's magic," Nuschese said. Nuschese added that the two go way back and Wonder frequents the Italian restaurant whenever he's in town. "I see him, but he doesn't see me, but he recognizes my voice," Nuschese said. Wonder was in town for Wednesday night's "In Performance at the White House," honoring songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
