A motorcyclist was killed in a Saturday-evening crash in Prince George's County.

Police said the accident happened shortly after 9:15 p.m. on the 8900 block of Woodyard Road in Clinton.

Authorities said the crash involved a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer. Officer Iris Acosta, a police spokeswoman, said she had no further details about the circumstances of the crash.

The motorcycle driver, identified as 51-year-old Henry Tharps Jr., of Clinton, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
